EQ is four months old today (Which is actually 4/9/08 despite the posted date shown here, evidently WP and I are having a bit of a date/time disagreement).
We celebrated by going for a car ride to the VET for his well puppy check up. He weighs in at 56.6 lbs.
Everything looks great, Earthquake is such an amiable dog… he wagged his tail through the whole exam. Then he flopped against the wall and went to sleep.
After the vet we stopped by PetSmart to pick up some treats (and to return a cat toy that broke the first day home). EQ was the center of attention. He seems to like that.
First bath. Yes, the water is THAT brown. Gah.
One would expect that bathing a Saint would be an ordeal. Not so much. Oregon Dad picked Earthquake up and put him into my garden tub (anyone want to come scrub it out for me? Post surgery I’m not feeling up to bending over!)
The only water splashing was from EQ’s tail wagging. He loved the bath. This morning he went back in to investigate the tub and tried to climb in all by himself.
Too bad he won’t always be able to take baths in the tub… its big enough to accommodate him even full grown, but we won’t be able to get him in and out for much longer.
Enjoying his walks. Each morning and evening, we go on a walk up and down our (hilly) road. This is great exercise for EQ’s growing bones. Most of the day he stays in the house, so it is vital to get him out and about a couple times each day.

Oh my gosh, he is SO CUTE. He is such a good boy when he gets his tubby!
